Background

Having developed a series of applications and online tools for Koxka customers and dealers, such as the EPC or the Online price list, Koxka has the idea of grouping all of these tools into a uniform platform, which becomes Koxka website reserved area (www.koxka.com).

The system brings together several applications created up to then, other ones which had already been developed by other means, such as the Photographs application, as well as applications which Beta Lyrae developed later on (doors and lids electronic catalogue, printed brochures request, etc.) With a common users and permission management system, enabling administrators to define which tools each user will access, the Restricted Area groups under a single access point all the online tools and applications avalilable at Koxka. The system also lets users to invite colleagues as new users, thus establishing a viral expansion mechanism.

Technical specifications

The system was developed on PHP technology, and it integrates applications developed on PHP, Java and Microsoft technology.
