Background

The initial idea defines a spare parts and accessories catalogue (the latter being treated in a different way as spare parts) which Koxka staff, customers and dealers can access, obtaining technical information on their refrigerated cabinets. If they wish, they can send orders for the spare parts they need, or compose their own quotations. This is the Electronic Spare Parts and Accessories Catalogue (EPC).

New functionalities are then added, some of them auxiliary, some other as complete new applications, which finally leads to the Koxka website reserved area.

EPC

This is a system using data from Engineering Department, offering users the possibility of performing searches, browsing cases by their families and/or types, obtaining printable versions in PDF format and sending orders, which are received at the main Koxka plant to be processed.

Users are managed form an administration interface, reserved to selected Koxka staff, where different access profiles can be assigned to users. Also, users can invite coleagues to join, thus openinf the access to the platform in a viral way.

The administration tools also allow Koxka staff to manage stored data, adding or updating parts, accessories and cases. Excel documents created in the Engineering Department can be uploaded, data being extracted from them, thus reducing complexity on the company work.
