At present 10 people are working at Unión 90, with the help of lawyers, auditors, assurance managers and banks.

Unión 90 Asesores identified as one of their main difficulties the constant sending of documents to and from their customers, most of all via e-mail. In order to easen this, Unión'90 decided to create their own document repository, in which their customers' documents are stored and made available to users they decide.

The system

Unión 90 Asesores document repository offers each client company access to a private area within Unión'90 website into which all documents related to the customer are stored. Documents are uploaded automatically from local Unión'90 servers, and customer users can view and download them using their username and password. The customer company, if they wish, can create their own users.

One of the main strenghts of this system is its security, avoiding unauthorised access to documents, so that no user can access documents belonging to other companies other than his/hers.

Each user can choose whether to receive an e-mail alert whenever a new document regarding his/her company is uploaded to the system.

Unión 90 Asesores extranet is a web application built on the Java Enterprise platform. It is a multiuser system integrating file transfer, automated e-mail sending and traceability of all user actions.
